Chester is an obsessive coin collector who lives with his grandmother. When a coin of unimaginable rarity falls into the hands of a stranger, Chester will stop at nothing to get it.

One of my primary influences for shaping the sound world of this score was Chester's obsession with coins. To further accentuate this aspect of his character, I chose to use a variety of metallic instruments in the music, including crotales, triangles, and cymbals. During the time when his obsession is at its peak, the score becomes completely dominated by a cacophony of cymbals, which brings out the idea that Chester is thinking of nothing but the coin.
